Happy Dog – Terms of Service

1. Bookings & Cancellations

Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booking.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full for the booked service.


2. Dog Behaviour & Responsibility

By using our services, you warrant that your dog is non-aggressive, in good temperament, and suitable to be handled and, where agreed, exercised off the lead.
Where off-lead exercise has been authorised, you accept full responsibility for your dog’s behaviour at all times.
Happy Dog shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or incident caused by your dog whilst in our care.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Happy Dog against any claims, damages, losses, costs, or liabilities arising from your dog’s behaviour.


3. Health & Welfare

You confirm that your dog is in good health, up to date with vaccinations, and free from contagious conditions.
Any medical conditions, behavioural issues, or special requirements must be disclosed prior to the commencement of services.


4. Access & Safety

You are responsible for providing safe and secure access to your property and ensuring your dog is ready at the agreed collection time.
Happy Dog shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to access issues, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.


5. Weather & Conditions

Services may be adapted, postponed, or cancelled where necessary due to extreme weather or conditions that may pose a risk to the safety and wellbeing of your dog.


6. Illness, Injury & Emergencies

Your dog's welfare is of the upmost importance to us. If your dog is injured or unwell we will make reasonable efforts to contact you immediately and ask what action you would like us to take, including making arrangements to bring your dog to you wherever you are or to take your dog to a trusted third-party. If you have nominated a trusted third-party then you agree that your dog is safe to be left in their care and be fully entrusted with the care of your dog. If we can't get hold of you or a trusted third-party then we will stay with your dog until we are able to contact you or a trusted third-party. If you or your trusted third-party cannot be reached, you authorise us to seek veterinary treatment from your norminated vet as deemed necessary. In cases of emergency we will take your dog to your nominated vet and immediately contact you (or your nominated third-party if we can't reach you) whilst prioristing your dog's care. All associated costs shall be your responsibility. By using our services, you confirm that you understand the risks of your dog walking in public and agree that Happy Dog are not responsible for any illness, injury or emergency your dog might experience. All associated costs of any illness, injury or emergency shall be your responsibility. We reserve the right to charge our solo rate price per hour for the duration that your dog remains in our care.


7. Payments

Invoices are issued weekly via email and are payable within 30 days of the invoice date.
Happy Dog reserves the right to suspend or terminate services where payment is overdue.


8. Keys & Home Access

Where keys, access codes, or other means of entry are provided, Happy Dog will take reasonable care to keep them secure. Keys will be stored unlabelled and without identifying address information.
You must ensure that a spare key or alternative means of access is available in the event of loss.
Happy Dog shall not be liable for any locksmith costs or related expenses arising from lost keys.
In the unlikely event of key loss, liability shall be limited to the reasonable cost of key replacement only.


9. Limitation of Liability

Happy Dog’s liability shall be limited to the value of the services provided.


10. Agreement

By using our services, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
